THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1871 of 2005 ORDER:

Heard Sri D.V. Nagarjuna Babu, learned counsel for the revision petitioner, and Sri Koka Srinivasa Kumar, learned counsel for respondents 1 to 3.

Learned counsel for both sides would submit that respondent No.2 expired on 14.12.2006 and, in fact, no cause survives in the present Criminal Revision Case, as the matter has already been compromised between the parties.

Though, the trial Court recorded conviction for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, but, on appeal, the lower appellate Court reversed it by setting aside the judgment of the trial court. Challenging the same, the de facto complainant preferred the present Criminal Revision Case.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides, the present Criminal Revision Case is dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the present revision case, stand closed.
