When the matter was called on 31.12.2014, in view of absence of any representation on behalf of the petitioner, this Court directed the matter to be listed after Pongal vacation. On 20.01.2015, when the matter was called, none appeared for the petitioner, as such, this Court directed the matter to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal' on 21.01.2014 i.e. today. Today, when the matter was called in the prelunch session, none appeared for the petitioner, as such, the matter was passed over and even in the post-lunch session, when the matter is called, none appears for the petitioner.

This indicates that the petitioner herein has no interest in prosecuting the writ petition. For the aforesaid reasons, writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
