HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO CRL.M.P.NO.5864 OF 2015 AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.5031 OF 2015 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/A1 to A4 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in crime No.16 of 2014 of Jaggaiahpet Police Station, Krishna District, for the offences punishable under Sections 116, 498-A and 406 I.P.C, pending on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Jaggaiahpet, Krishna District.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State, before notice to respondent No.2/de facto complainant and before admission.

Pending the Criminal Petition, Crl.MP.No.5864 of 2015 is filed seeking permission of the Court to compound the offence in the above said crime. T h e de facto complainant and the accused are present before the Court and they identified by their respective counsel and stated that they settled the matter amicably at the intervention of the elders and also filed affidavits and memorandum of compromise with signatures of the petitioners to that effect.

Accordingly, Crl.M.P.No.5864 of 2015 is ordered and the Criminal Petition is allowed by quashing the proceedings in crime No.16 of 2014 of Jaggaiahpet Police Station, Krishna District, pending on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Jaggaiahpet, Krishna District.

Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
