THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.43835 OF 2016 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.23 of 2016 on the file of the XVII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally against the petitioners. 2.
Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.
The offences alleged against the petitioners are punishable under Sections 138 and 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings of the said case. However, the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates on which the learned Magistrate insists for their appearance. The petitioners shall be properly represented through their counsel before the trial Court. 5.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
