The writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking a writ of mandamus declaring G.O.Ms.No.282, Agriculture and Cooperation (Sericulture) Department, dated 04.10.2008, and G.O.Ms.No.14, Industries and Commerce (Tax) Department, dated 21.01.2009 and consequential proceedings of the Commissioner of Sericulture in Rc.No.2148/2008/TM7, dated 27.04.2009 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently to set aside the same. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of passing of G.O.Ms.No.124, Agriculture & Cooperation (Sericulture) Department, dated 07.06.2012, the subject matter of the writ petition has become infructuous. The said G.O.Ms.No.124, dated 07.06.2012, is made part of record. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
