Warangal District Cricket Association, v. Governemnt Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.4622 of 2014 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
2.
The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "...to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring that the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in not arresting the respondents 5 to 7 and in not completing the investigation and in not filing charge sheet in Cr.No.561 of 2013 of Hanamkonda Police Station, Warangal District is highly arbitrary, bad and illegal and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to complete the investigation and file charge sheet and pass such other order or orders as deem fit and proper." 3.
When the matter is called, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner informs the Court that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.561 of 2013 of Hanamkonda Police Station, Warangal District, was registered. After investigation, final report was filed for closure of the case. However, the petitioner lodged a protest petition, upon which, the case was taken on file. When the case was pending, the parties have compromised, and, therefore, no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same has become infructuous.
4.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No costs.
