HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.6376 OF 2002 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it has been contended by the counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was not permitted to discharge her duties as Sweeper with effect from 29.06.1999, even though, she has completed ten years of service as such. The counsel for the petitioner further contended that the petitioner is fully qualified to be appointed as Sweeper on regular basis.

This Court, having considered the said submission, is of the considered view that the Writ Petition can be disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for engaging her as Sweeper and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
