THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.8675 of 2013 ORDER:

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 2.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents placed on record the written instructions, dated 28.03.2013, issued by the Inspector of Police, Jubilee Hills Police Station, Hyderabad. 4.

A perusal of the said written instructions would reveal that in view of the involvement of the petitioner in criminal case and to curtail his unlawful activities, a rowdy sheet was opened against him, after obtaining permission from the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Banjara Hills Division, Hyderabad, in the year 1990 on the file of the Station House Officer, Banjara Hills Police Station, Hyderabad, as per the Police Standing Orders. Subsequently, on the point of jurisdiction, the rowdy sheet has been transferred to the Station House Officer, Jubilee Hills Police Station, Hyderabad, and the rowdy sheet is continued up to 31.12.2013 to watch his activities. After transfer of the rowdy sheet to the Jubilee Hills Police Station, the petitioner was

involved in 22 criminal cases mentioned in the written instructions. It is also specifically mentioned that the respondent police never harassed, abused or raided the house and party office of the petitioner. The respondent police also never detained the petitioner in the Police Station and never threatened him to foist false cases against him. Except maintaining rowdy sheet against the petitioner, the respondent police have never harassed, threatened, abused or interfered with the life and liberty of the petitioner at any point of time. 5.

In view of the above said written instructions, this Court is of the opinion that there are not merits in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

6.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No costs.
