THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION NO.48 of 2015 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) We are of the view that the allegations made in the writ petition can be taken care of by an appropriate forum. At the first instance, writ Court is not a forum to deal matters of this nature, particularly when First Information Report was registered by the police. If the police do not take any action, the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 are adequate enough to take care of the issue. We, therefore, close the writ petition, permitting the complainant to approach the appropriate forum or any other person as available under law.
