ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, challenging the action of the second respondent in directing 3rd respondent herein including the other officers to launch criminal cases against the members of the petitioners union and to recover the amounts alleged to have been misappropriated by the Members of the petitioner society by drawing salaries and the proceedings of the first respondent herein dated 22.9.2003 directing the 4th respondent to take back the account books, receipt books etc.

, from all the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies as illegal, unjust, arbitrary, capricious, amounts to arbitrary exercise of power, apart from being without power or authority and also violative of various provisions of the Act and the Rules made thereunder and consequentially set aside the memo dated 22.9.2003 of the first respondent and the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 30.6.2003 (Specimen copy of notice) and pass such other order or orders as are deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

At this length of time, the relief sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the respondents, he at liberty to pursue his remedies, in accordance with law. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
