Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for respondents.

It is the case of the petitioners that they are the peaceful owners and possessors of land to an extent of Acs.0.31 guntas in Survey No.57/A/3, Acs.3.05 guntas in Survey No.57/e/3/2, Acs.2.14 guntas in Survey No.57/e5, Acs.0.31 guntas in Survey No.57/e3/1, Acs.1.23 guntas in Survey No.57/e4/2, Acs.0.31 guntas in Survey No.57/e4/1 and Acs.0.32 guntas in Survey No.57/e3/3, total extent of Acs.10.17 guntas, situated within the limits of Vallabhampally Village, Revally Mandal. They are their ancestral properties.

While so, they submitted a representation on 31.10.2016 to the fourth respondent by paying requisite fee for conducting survey. The fourth respondent accordingly appears to have issued notice on 05.11.2016. Thereafter, no action was taken by the fourth respondent. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed. In the circumstances, the fourth respondent is directed to take further steps pursuant to the application of the petitioners, dated 31.10.2016 and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
