Petitioner And The State of Telangana, Rep., by its Principal Secretary, Home Department, Room No.502A Block, 5th Floor, Secretariat, Hyderabad & others.
.. Respondents This court made the following :
- 2 - THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.5212 OF 2019 ORDER :
Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government pleader for Home for respondents.
2.
This writ petition is filed alleging that without following due process and affecting his right of privacy, personal liberty and right to live, he is frequently called to the police station, even though no crimes are registered.
3.
According to learned Government Pleader, on 22.02.2019 Crime No.240 of 2019 and on 26.02.2019 Crime No.259 of 2019 were registered in Rajendranagar Police Station. Only in connection with crimes registered against the petitioner, he is required by the police for investigation.
4.
Since two crimes are already registered against the petitioner, it cannot be said that police are unnecessarily harassing the petitioner. However, it is needless to observe that police shall follow due process in conducting investigation and calling the petitioner to police station.
5.
With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. __________________ P.NAVEEN RAO,J 14th March, 2019 Rds
