The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of Respondents particularly the Respondent No 2 to 4 for issuance of new Pattadar Pass Books and Title Deed in favour of the Petitioner herein in respect of the agricultural land in Sy No 68/A admeasuring Ac 300 gts Sy No 59/A admeasuring Ac 200 gts Sy No 59/1 admeasuring Ac 400 gts Sy No 58 admcasuring 735 gts Sy No 57/1/1/1 admetias ring Ac 437 and Sy No 57 admeasuring Ac 437 for an total extent of Ac 2629 gts situated at Sarlaravulapally Guttala Gadda Thanda Kandukur Mandal Ranga Reddy District vide Patta Pass Book No 69 and the Rythu Bandu Raythu Beema Scheme provided by the Government it is illegal unlawful unjust and contrary to law and against the principles of natural justice and consequently to direct the Respondents to consider the representations of the Petitioner in the interest of justice and pass such other relief or reliefs as this Honble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner submitted an application in the prescribed format in Form VI (A) as required by Section 4 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, read with Rule 18 (2) of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989.
Having received such an application, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Kandukur Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to remain somnolent. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Kandukur Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to take appropriate action on the petitioner's application expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
