THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.42619 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioners state that they made an application, dated 21.04.2015, through Mee-Seva in the prescribed form before the Tahsildar, Cheemakurthi Village and Mandal, Prakasam District, the 3rd respondent, for mutation of their names in the revenue records and also for issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds and accordingly paid the requisite fee in accordance with the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') and the Rules framed thereunder. Alleging inaction on the part of the 3rd respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed.

It is evident that the proceedings under Form VI-A of the Act are required to be considered in a time span of 45 days. Considering the fact that the statutory application of the petitioners is pending since 21.04.2015, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the said application and pass appropriate orders, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
