This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ A.1 to A.5 to quash the proceedings in Crime No.610 of 2017 of Chilakalguda Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 34, 506 and 341 read with 34 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 to A.5, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing respondent No.1/ State and perused the record.

It is submitted that the parties have compromised the subject matter of the case. The offences alleged against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.5 are Sections 498-A, 324, 506 and 341 read with 34 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Under these circumstances, the parties are entitled to compromise the matter in accordance with law before the trial Court.

With the above observation, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
