HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.36202 of 2013 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Standing counsel representing the 1st respondent. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus by declaring the inaction of the 2nd respondent in releasing the Freedom Fighters Pension sanctioned by the 1st respondent vide his proceedings dt. 21.05.2013 is illegal arbitrary and contrary to the Article 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to release the Freedom Fighter Pension as sanctioned in favour of the petitioner by the 1st respondent in his proceedings dt.21.05.2013 forthwith."

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by virtue of the interim orders passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.44992 of 2013 dated 24.12.2013, the respondents have passed orders and the petitioner is receiving the freedom fighters' pension. Therefore, no further orders are required.

Taking into consideration the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the interim orders, as stated supra, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. _____________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 19.11.2018.
