Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4.

Petitioner's grievance is that petitioner has produced a document before 4th respondent for the purpose of registration but 4th respondent has declined to receive the said document and process it for the purpose of registration.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that 4th respondent will receive the document presented for the purpose of registration and if he is not inclined to register, he will pass a reasoned order under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908 and communicate the said order to the petitioner. 4.
In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing 4th respondent to receive the document produced by the petitioner for the purpose of registration and if he is not inclined to register it, he shall pass an order thereon under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908 and communicate the same to the petitioner within four weeks from the date of submission of
the document by the petitioner. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
