This Criminal Petition is filed praying this Court to enlarge the petitioners on bail who are accused in Crime No.347 of 2025 of Amangal Police Station, Cyberabad. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 8(C) r/w.20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short 'NDPS Act') 2.
The facts of the case are that on 26.12.2025, the complainant on reliable information conducted check at Amangal RTC bus stand and found A.1 and A.2 in possession of 616 grams of Ganja Hash Oil, the same was seized from them
under panchanama and the same was reported to police wherein the police registered the case against the accused for the above offences.

Heard Sri D.Suryanarayana, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Sri E.Ganesh, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent - State. 4.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that petitioner No.1 is in jail from 27.12.2025 and petitioner No.2 is in jail from 22.01.2026 and the seized contraband is 616 grams of Ganja Hash oil which is intermediate quantity and that there are no other cases pending against the petitioners. Hence, prayed this Court to grant regular bail to the petitioners. 5.
On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor opposed bail stating that the offences alleged against the petitioners are under NDPS Act and that investigation is not yet completed. Hence, petitioners are not entitled to bail and prayed to dismiss this petition.

Considering the submissions made by both the counsel and the material on record, the petitioner No.1 is in jail from 27.12.2025 and petitioner No.2 is in jail from 22.01.2026 and that the contraband seized is 616 grams of Ganja Hash oil
which is an intermediate quantity. Considering the period of incarceration of petitioners herein and the quantity of contraband seized, this Court deems it appropriate to grant bail to the petitioners/A.1 and A.2 subject to the following conditions.
i. The petitioners/A.1 & A.2 shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) each with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the I-Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar.
ii. The petitioners/A.1 & A.2 shall appear before the concerned SHO between 09.00 a.m and 05.00 p.m., on every Wednesday for a period of eight (8) weeks, for the purpose of investigation or till filing of charge sheet whichever is earlier and thereafter, as and when required.
iii. The petitioners/A.1 & A.2 shall abide by the conditions stipulated in Section 483(2) of the BNSS. 7.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
