THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1967 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in D.V.C. No.4 of 2016 on the file of the IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad at Erramanzil, for the offences under Sections 498-A and 406 I.P.C. and Sections 4 & 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Petition is disposed of with the following directions : The presence of petitioners herein is dispensed with before the trial Court and the trial Court is directed to proceed with the trial in the D.V.C. No.4 of 2016 and to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.
