The relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to fix his salary in the Regular Pay Revision Commission Scale of Common Cadre Officers w.e.f 31.12.1987 and release increments for the years 1988 to 1992 and also grant fitment benefits as per the Pay Revision Scales of 1986, 1993 and 1999.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, this Court noticed that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation during penedency of this writ petition. Therefore, ends of justice would be met, if this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the authorities concerned giving all the details.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents giving all the details within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation being made by the petitioner, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks thereafter. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
