O R D E R

The prayer of the petitioners in this case reads as under: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of 4th respondent not entering the survey number of the petitioners in new e-pass books inrespect of Ac: 3.17 Guntas (each 34 guntas) in Sy. No. 32/VU, VUU, RU, LU of Nazdiksingaram Village, Yacharam Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, inspite of finalization of civil disputes, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the 4th respondent to effect the entries of the petitioners in new e-pass books inrespect of Sy. No. 32/VU, VUU, RU, LU of Nazdiksingaram Village, Yacharam Mandal, Ranga Reddy District and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case.'

The grievance of the petitioners is that despite the fact that they emerged successful in civil litigation and the appeal filed thereagainst also stood dismissed, the revenue authorities are not giving effect to the same by making appropriate entries in the new e-pass books in so far as the subject land is concerned. The petitioners' legal notices dated 21.06.2018 and 12.10.2018 ventilate this grievance but the Tahsildar concerned is stated to have taken no action thereon.

It is not open to the Tahsildar, Yacharam Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to remain somnolent when the entries in the new e-pass books would decide the entitlement of the petitioners to avail the benefits of the Government's welfare schemes.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Yacharam Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioners' legal notices dated 21.06.2018 and 12.10.2018 expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Court, be it from whatever source. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
