O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that though he obtained a decree of divorce against the unofficial respondent No.4 vide O.P.No.77 of 2015 dated 21.06.2017 on the file of Senior Civil Judge at Peddapalli, the official respondents 2 and 3, are calling him to the police station and insisting him to settle the dispute with the 4th respondent. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Station House Officer, Dharmapuri Police Station, Jagtial District, dated 13.03.2019, wherein it is stated that the 4th respondent gave representation to Superintendent of Police, Jagtial on 22.08.2018 stating that she married the petitioner and due to differences, they entered into agreement before elders for separation, wherein her husband (petitioner) agreed to pay an amount of Rs.

8,00,000/- and give Ac.1-00 of land and share in the house property, but he deposited only Rs.5,00,000/- and he is yet to pay Rs.3,00,000/- and, therefore, she sought to take action. The said representation was forwarded to the Circle Inspector of Police, Dharmapuri on 29.10.2018 for causing enquiry and the petitioner also approached the Circle Inspector of Police, Dharmapuri on 29.10.2018, and gave complaint. It is stated that petitioner was never called to the police station, nor was insisted to settle the dispute with the 4th respondent. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

From the material on record it could be seen that there is dispute with regard to payment of money and other landed property, by the petitioner to the 4th respondent. However, as per the statement made in the written instructions, the police have specifically denied that they called the petitioner to the police station and insisted to settle the dispute with the 4th respondent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, recording the statement made in the written instructions, writ petition is disposed of, directing the official respondents not to interfere with the civil dispute between the petitioner and the unofficial respondent No.4, and also with his life and liberty, except in accordance with law.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
