De facto complainant and his counsel Ms. N.Sameera are present. Sri T.Ram Shankar, Special Power of Attorney Holder of the petitioner-accused No. 8 (vide Special Power of Attorney dated 27-06-2018), is present along with his counsel Sri M.L.Ali. Both the parties are identified by their respective counsel. 2.

Pending criminal petition, parties filed IA.No. 2 of 2018 seeking permission of this Court to compound the offences. By a separate order dated 24-04-2018, this Court granted permission for compounding the offences.

Having regard to the fact that permission was already granted in I.A.No. 2 of 2018 and also following the decision reported in Gian Sin gh Vs. St at e of Pu n j ab an d an ot h er 1, I.A.No. 5 of 2018 is allowed and the parties are permitted to compound the offences punishable under Sections 465, 468, 471, 420 and 120-B read with Section 34 of IPC involved in crime No. 7 of 2017 of CID, AP, Amaravathi, Guntur District. Consequently, Criminal Petition No. 1578 of 2018 is allowed and the proceedings in crime No. 7 of 2017 are quashed insofar as the petitioner-accused No. 8 is concerned and the petitioneraccused No. 8 is acquitted of the offences for which she is charged.
