This writ petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, challenges the order passed by the Deputy Director of Mines and Geology, Guntur vide proceedings No.8097/Q/AD(ONG)/2003, dated 21.06.2006. By virtue of the said order, the Deputy Director of Mines and Geology granted quarry lease for Road Metal over an extent of 1.000 Hectares in S.No.58/P of Budawada Village, Cheemakurthy Mandal, Prakasam District for a period of 10 years in favour of the fifth respondent herein.

2. The period of lease as per the said order came to an end. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the unofficial respondents that the authorities did not grant renewal also. Therefore, this Court is the opinion that further adjudication of the matter is not necessary.
