This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue a Writ Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in carrying out the corrections in Revenue Records in respect of petitioner's land without any notice on the petitioner contrary to the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattedar pass Books Act 1971 as arbitrary capricious and illegal with a consequential direction to the 3rd respondent to restore the petitioner's name for lands in Survey Nos 451/1 Buddavaram village Gannavaram Mandal, Krishna District, in the Revenue Records for the years 1423 Fasli to 1427 Fasli i e 2013 to 2017."

Since the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is for correction of entries in the revenue records, the petitioner should have taken steps under Sub-Section (3) of Section 3 of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and the Rules framed thereunder. But, no such steps were taken.

In the circumstances, liberty is given to the petitioner to file an appropriate application, in accordance with law, within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As and when such an application is filed, the competent authority shall issue appropriate notice to all the affected parties and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four (04) weeks thereafter. 4.
