SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.2236 OF 2013 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in Crime No.28 of 2013 of Yedpally Police Station, Nizamabad District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 3 (1) (x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor filed Memo, dated 23.08.2018, stating that the police after completion of investigation filed charge sheet before the Court below and thereafter, the case was committed to Court of Sessions, wherein it was numbered as S.C.No.28 of 2014. The matter underwent trial and finally the Court below acquitted petitioner for the said offence on 02.06.2015. 3.

Hence, the cause in this Criminal Petition does not survive for further adjudication and that the petition has become infructuous and consequently, dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
