THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY WRIT PETITION No.3259 of 2016 ORDER:
This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of Constitution of India, is filed to declare the inaction of the 2nd respondent i.e., Joint Collector, Mahabubnagar for early disposal of revision as arbitrary and illegal and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the revision No.D1/120/2014 as early as possible.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue representing the State of Telangana. The 3rd respondent herein filed a petition under Section 9 of A.P Record of Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 against the petitioner for rectification of entries vide file No.D1/120/2014 before the Joint Collector, Mahabubnagar, against the order of RDO. The petitioner herein who is respondent before the Joint Collector, has also filed counter in the revision after receiving notice dated 30.02.2014. But the joint Collector did not dispose of the revision petition sofar for no reason.
Respondent No.3 herein reported no objection to issue such direction.
Hence, in view of the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and no objection reported by the 3rd respondent herein, who is the revision petitioner before the Joint Collector, the joint collector is directed to dispose of the revision petition in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within two (02) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
