This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri T. PRASANNA KUMAR, Advocate for the Petitioner and the Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent.

THE HONOURABLE SMT. JUSTICE K. SUJANA CRIMII{AL PETITION No.231O of 2o24 ORDER:
This criminal petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 3O.O8.2O23 in Crl.M.P.No.3763 of 2023 in C.C.No.413 of 2Ol7 on the file of XII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, , Nampally, Hyderabad, wherein the trial Court, while allowing the petition filed seeking a direction to the Regional Passport Authority to handover his renewal passport to him, has imposed a condition of furnishing a personal bond of Rs.2,O0,OO0/- besides other conditions. The petitioner is only aggrieved by the condition of furnishing a personal bond of Rs.2,OO,00O/-.

[rarned counsel for the petitioner submitted that mere pendency of criminal case is not a bar to grant the passport and placed reliance on the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No.lO5O3 of 2023, wherein this Court while disposing of the said Writ Petition has directed the Regional Passport Authority to consider the Passport application of the petitioner therein and also imposed certain conditions. Hence, learned counsel prayed to set aside the order dated 30.08.2023 only to the extent of furnishing a personal bond of Rs.2,O0,OO0/-.

Be that as it may, in view of the facts and circumstances of the case, since the original C.C. pertains to the year 2017, t}:.e trial
Court is directed to conclude the trial and dispose of the C.C as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Pending l miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this Criminal Petition shall also !
stand closed.
