HONOURABLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.5307 of 2019 ORDER:
The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under:- "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of writ petition, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent No.3 to consider the application made by the petitioner through Mee-Seva in Form VI(A), vide Application No.MU021900222406, dated 09-01-2019 as contemplated under Rule 18 and Sec.4(1) of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbook Act, 1971 and to issue I-B (ROR) Register, Adangal, e-passbooks and Title Deeds, in favour of the petitioner, in respect of the agricultural land in Sy.No.411/E, admeasuring Ac.2-29 Gts. (dry), situated at Boyalagudem Village, Gattu Mandal, Jogulamba-Gadwal District, and to pass such other order or orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."
Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner submitted an application in the prescribed format in Form VI(A) as required by Section 4 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 read with Rule 18(2) of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989, for mutation of his name in the revenue records in relation to the subject land.
Having received the said application, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Gattu Mandal, Jogulamba-Gadwal District, to remain somnolent. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Gattu Mandal, Jogulamba-Gadwal District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's application in accordance with the due procedure
expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
