THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 5412 of 2020 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, petitioner asserts that respondent No.2 - Metpally Municipality, rep. by its Commissioner, Metpally Mandal, Jagtial District, earmarked a portion of his land admeasuring 377 sq.yards in Survey No.667 situated at Opp: Ambedkar Colony, Metpally, Jagtial District, for the purpose of laying 30 feet road. His grievance is that his property was not acquired either through negotiations or through the process of land acquisition.

Sri N. Praveen Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for Municipalities appearing for respondent No.2, would submit, on instructions, that no portion of the land of the petitioner is acquired without following due process.

Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is closed, by making it clear that if the property of the petitioner is required for any public purpose, the same shall be acquired either through negotiations or through the process of acquisition under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and

CKR, J W.P.No.5412 of 2020 Resettlement Act, 2013, without which, no work shall be executed.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
