Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare (Telangana) for respondents. 2.

The petitioner has questioned endorsement dt.02.08.2016 issued by 1st respondent rejecting petitioner's request for Community and Nativity and Date of Birth certificate stating that she belongs to Scheduled Tribe.

The counsel for petitioner asserts that earlier such certificate has been given to petitioner, but without assigning any reasons the impugned endorsement has been passed.

Giving reasons for rejecting an application for Community and Nativity and Date of Birth certificate applied by petitioner is necessary in the interest of natural justice. Therefore, the impugned endorsement is set aside and the 1st respondent is directed to pass a fresh reasoned order after considering the submissions of petitioner as to why he is granting or not granting the Community and Nativity and Date of Birth certificate to petitioner.

This exercise shall be completed within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

Therefore, the Writ Petition is allowed with the above directions. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
