When this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ petition is filed by the petitioner-management challenging the award passed by the Labour Court in I.D.No.71 of 2003, dated 15.4.2004. He further submits that the 1st respondent-workman attained the age of superannuation and that the petitioner is willing to extend the service benefits to the 1st respondent. 2.

In view of the above submission, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the award passed by the Labour Court. 3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
