Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, appearing for respondents 1, 4, 5 and 7, learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 2, 6 and 8 and learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj appearing for respondent No.3.

Petitioner claims to have served as Village Administrative Officer, from 10.02.1992 to 31.12.2001 on honorarium basis in Tallapally Village, Shabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District and later he worked as Panchayat Secretary, Damagidda Village, Chevella Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, from the year 2002 to 31.12.2006, the date on which, he retired from service, on attaining the age of superannuation. Claiming that petitioner is entitled to pension in accordance with the orders issued by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.365 dated 29.10.2014 and G.O.Ms.No.10 dated 19.01.2015, this writ petition is filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner made a representation which is marked as Ex.P.1, to various authorities including the District Treasury Officer, on 05.09.2018, praying to grant pension in accordance with the above G.Os. 4.

It appears, that so far, the said representation is not disposed of. In view thereof, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the District Collector, Ranga Reddy District-6th respondent, to examine the

- 3 - claim of petitioner for sanction of pension, in accordance with the G.Os., referred to above. If it is found that petitioner is entitled to pension in accordance with the said orders, the 6th respondent shall take appropriate steps, with reference to the claim of petitioner, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
