ORDER: (per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed feeling aggrieved by order dt.18.2.2016 in O.A. No.479 of 2016, on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad.

We have heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

The petitioner is working as Record Assistant in the office of the Commissioner of School Education. Consequent on bifurcation of the erstwhile State of Andhra Pradesh, the petitioner was asked to exercise his option. He has accordingly opted for the State of Andhra Pradesh. In terms of his option, the petitioner was allocated to the State of Andhra Pradesh. Thereafter, he has approached the respondents with a request to allow him to change his option for being allocated to the State of Telangana. As this request was not considered, the petitioner has filed the above-mentioned O.A. By the impugned order, the Tribunal has held, and in our view correctly, that having exercised his option, the petitioner cannot keep on changing his options, as that would be an endless exercise for both the States.

At the hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Services (AP) on instructions submitted that the final allocation has already been completed. This submission is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. In the light of the above facts, we do not find any merit in this writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P. No.15016 of 2016 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
