HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. AMARNATH GOUD CRIMINAL PETITION No.6811 of 2011 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioners in Cr.No.241 of 2011 of CCS (DD) Women Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The 2nd respondent herein is the de-facto complainant and the petitioners are her in-laws and family members. This petition has been filed in August, 2011 and interim order has been passed vide Crl.P.M.P.No.7032 of 2011 on 09.08.2011. The investigation is yet to be completed, to know the truth in the complaint. The criminal petition is, therefore, disposed of directing the prosecution to proceed with the investigation in the light of Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and file charge sheet. Till such time, the petitioners/accused in the crime in question shall not be arrested. The petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any pending stand closed.
