No.37127 of 2016 Dt: 08.11.2016 Order : (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "to issue an order or orders more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Habeas Corpus direct the respondent no. 2 to 6 herein to produce the detenue viz G.Rama Krishna @ R.K Aged about 55 Years, Occ: Central Committee member (CPI Maoist Party) N/o: Guntur District, before this Hon'ble court and to record the statement of the detenue for the appropriate action in the light of the various judgments of the Supreme Court D.K Basu and direct the respondent NO.1 herein to initiate appropriate criminal and civil proceedings against the erring police officials." Mr.V.Raghunath, learned Counsel for the petitioner, addressed letter, dated 04-11-2016, seeking permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition by stating that the husband of the petitioner is safe. Mr.Lenin Midde, learned Counsel appearing for Mr.V.Raghunath, learned Counsel for the petitioner, reiterated the contents of the letter at the hearing.

In view of the above, the request of the learned Counsel for the petitioner is accepted and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.
