This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ accused seeking to extend the time to comply with the order, dated 24.05.2018, passed in Crl.M.P.No.267 of 2018 in Crl.A.No.470 of 2018 on the file of V Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Cyberabad at L.B. Nagar, Ranga Reddy District. 2 .

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/ State. Perused the record.

By the aforesaid order, dated 24.05.2018, the Court below suspended the operation of sentence of imprisonment imposed on the petitioner/ accused in Judgment, dated 19.04.2018, in C.C.No.136 of 2017 on the file of II Special Magistrate Court, Cyberabad at Rajendranagar, till disposal of the appeal, on condition of the petitioner/ accused depositing 25% of the compensation amount within two months from the date of that order. The Court below also imposed other conditions. 4 .

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the said 25% of the compensation amount is not yet deposited.

Under these circumstances, the petitioner/ accused is directed to deposit the said 25% of the compensation amount and then move an application before the Court of Session for extension of time. On filing such an application, the Court of Session may consider the same on merits.

With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
