The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the respondent authorities were high handedly interfering with his construction activity in the subject plot. According to him, he was also sanctioned a building permit to undertake such construction activity. By interim order dated 15.03.2019, this Court took note of the material placed on record in proof of the petitioner's possession and directed the respondents not to interfere with such possession or the construction activity over the subject plot, even if warranted, except in accordance with the due procedure laid down by law. Despite the matter being adjourned for the purpose of filing a counter, the respondents have not chosen to put forth their stand, if any.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of confirming the interim order and directing the respondents not to interfere with the possession or construction activity of the petitioner, except in accordance with the due procedure laid down by law.
