THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION NO.29535 OF 2015 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the following relief:

"... to declare the action of the respondents in not granting trade margin on the "Special Margin i.e., Additional Privilege Fee" on rounding up of the MRP to next higher five rupee as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to grant trade margin on the "Special Margin i.e., Additional Privilege Fee" on rounding up of the MRP to next higher five rupee collected by the respondents..."

2. Heard Mr. A.Jagannadha Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition & Excise appearing for the respondents.

3. During the course of arguments, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioners herein for redressal of their grievance, submitted a representation on 25-05-2015 to the 1st respondent-State Government and no action has been taken on the said representation.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has requested this Court to direct the 1st respondent to take appropriate action on the said representation by fixing some time frame.

5. The said request is not opposed by the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition & Excise.

6. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent-State Government to take appropriate action on the representation, dated 25-05-2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
