HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 20476 of 2011 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is being heard at the admission stage itself.
The present writ petition is filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.1 to 4 in not taking any action on the representations dated 20.09.2010 and 15.04.2011 made to cancel the allotment of houses to the ineligible persons by violating Indiramma Scheme and not allotting the same to the petitioners and others who are eligible, as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to conduct enquiry into the allotment and take necessary action.
Though the petitioners claiming various reliefs but their main grievance is that their representations dated 20.09.2010 and 15.04.2011 made to respondent Nos.1 to 4 are not considered till date and hence seek a direction.
Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the circumstances stated in the writ petition, respondent Nos.1 to 4 are hereby directed to consider the representations dated 20.09.2010 and 15.04.2011, if any made by the petitioners and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
