THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.9950 of 2013 ORDER:

In this Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners/accused Nos.1, 3 and 4 seek to quash the proceedings in FIR No.544 of 2013 on the file of Alwal Police Station, Cyberabad, whereunder the petitioners and another alleged to have committed offences under Sections 120B,177,156,290,384,403,406,420,426,447,499,501 and 506. When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the Final Report filed by the Police before VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal, and submitted that the police have filed the final report referring the case as 'Civil in nature' and he thus prayed to dismiss the petition, which is filed for quashment of the proceedings, as infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioners reported no objection to dismiss the petition.

In the light of the above, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, in this case, shall stand closed.
