This criminal petition is filed, by the petitioner-accused, under Section 438 Cr.P.C., seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.33 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Chilamathur Police Station, Ananthapur District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 353 of IPC.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner obtained bail from the trial court. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the subject matter of the criminal petition has become infructuous.
