HONOURABLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.5446 OF 2019 O R D E R:

The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondents in considering the Representations dated 07102015 24022015 04032017 86 18022019 followed by more than 4 Representations to enter the Petitioners name into Revenue Records and updating online by issuing ePass Book to the Petitioner by Mutation Proceedings No B/2762/2004 dated 03072004 86 Patta No 304 in respect of the land in Survey No 639 an extent of Acre 100 Situated at Hanmajipally Village Ganneruvaram Mandal Karimnagar District is illegal arbitrary unconstitutional and violation of Articles 14 16 and 300A of the constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents No 2 86 3 to enter the Petitioners Name into Revenue records by issuing ePass Book and updating online records by Mutation Proceedings No B/2762/2004 dated 03072004 86 Patta No 304 land in Survey No 639 an extent of Acre 100 Situated at Hanmajipally Village Ganneruvaram Mandal Karimnagar District and pass such other relief or reliefs as this Honble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner was already issued a regular pattadar pass book in relation to the land claimed by him, under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971. His grievance presently is that his name has not been entered in the on-line revenue records and he has not been issued a new pattadar pass book so as to enable him to avail the benefit of the Government's welfare scheme. The petitioner seems to have made representations in this regard to the Tahsildar, Gannaruvaram Mandal, Karimnagar District. The representation dated 18.02.2019 bears the endorsement to the effect that the office of the Tahsildar received it on the very same day.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Gannaruvaram Mandal, Karimnagar District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2019 expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
