ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) The order, dated 24.03.2016 in O.A.No.748 of 2016 on the file of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench, Hyderabad - respondent No.4 (for short 'the Tribunal'), whereby the Tribunal declined to interfere with the transfer order of the petitioner is questioned in this writ petition.
2. We have heard Mr.M.Surendra Rao, learned senior counsel representing Mr.Srinivasa Rao Madiraju, learned counsel for the petitioner, twice earlier. Today, at the hearing, the learned senior counsel has strenuously submitted that his client has serious apprehension of physical harm at the hands of drug mafia, if he is transferred to Coimbatore and that therefore, the respondents may be directed to consider transfer and posting of the petitioner at any place other than Coimbatore.
3. Mr.B.Narayana Reddy, learned Assistant Solicitor General appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3, has fairly agreed that respondent No.2 will consider the petitioner's aforementioned request.
4. Inasmuch as a serious apprehension is expressed by the petitioner, respondent No.2 is directed to consider posting the petitioner at any place other than Coimbatore, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
