Heard learned counsel appearing for both sides and with their consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal. 2.

Petitioner claims to have been appointed on 5.4.1987 as Badili Fillar, promoted as Coal Filler on 12.7.1999, Support-man (CategoryIV) on 1.7.2004, SLP (linked promotion category-V) on 1.1.2012, and as Tripman-III (Grade-III) on 1.1.2016. By this transfer the pay of the petitioner was reduced without granting pay protection. Seeking pay protection, the petitioner submitted representations on 2.2.2016 and on 12.8.2016.

The grievance of the petitioner which necessitates filing this Writ Petition is that the said representations are not considered, no orders are passed and so far no pay protection is granted. 4.

Both the counsel agreed that since representations are pending consideration, the Writ Petition can be disposed of with a direction to pass orders on the said representations.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent General Manager to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 2.2.2016 and 12.8.2016 and pass orders on the claim of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a

PNR,J W.P.NO. 43657 OF 2016 period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
