THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6767 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking a direction to I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Visakhapatnam to expedite the hearing of C.C.No.1776 of 2014.

The only grievance of the petitioner is that though the C.C.No.1776 of 2014 pertains to the year 2014, trial is not yet concluded. Considering the said grievance, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial in C.C.No.1776 of 2014 and dispose of the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Criminal Petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
