HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.394 OF 2019 ORDER :

After issuance of notice on 10.06.2019, when this contempt case was listed on 22.07.2019, counters were filed by respondent Nos.1 and 2 denying the allegations made against them, but, as there was no representation for the petitioners, the matter was adjourned to two weeks. Accordingly, when the matter came up for hearing on 05.08.2019 also, as there was no representation for the petitioners, the matter was directed to be listed on 19.08.2019 under the caption 'for dismissal.' However, despite the matter being listed today under the caption 'for dismissal', as there was no representation for the petitioners during the morning session, the matter was passed over to afternoon session and during the afternoon session at 2.30 p.m. also when the matter is called again for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioners. In the circumstances, this Court is of the view that the petitioners are no longer interested to prosecute the matter further.

2. Therefore, the contempt case is dismissed for nonprosecution. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the contempt case stand closed.
