This appeal is filed under Section 19 of the Family Courts Act, 1984 (for short 'the Act') by the respondent in M.C.No.69 of 2005, aggrieved by the order dated 25.10.2005 passed in the said M.C by the Judge, Family Court, Secunderabad.

By the aforesaid order, the petition filed by the respondent herein under Section 125 Cr.P.C was allowed by granting maintenance at the rate of Rs.2,000/- per month.

The respondent is the son of the petitioner. The age of the respondent was shown as 10 years in the year 2005. Now, he has become major. Further, in view of the provision under Section 19(2) of the Act, against the order under Chapter IX of Code of Criminal Procedure, no appeal lies under Section 19 of the Act.

For the aforesaid reasons, this appeal is liable to be dismissed and the same is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
