Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring GO Ms.No.544, Revenue (Endowments-III) Department, dated 25-08-2012 issued by the 1st respondent appointing respondents 2 to 12 as Chairman and Members of Board of Trustees of respondent no.13-Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, without following the procedure or any rule thereunder and publishing notice in Form-1 referred in Rule-4 (1) of Appointment of Trustees Rules, 1987, as being illegal, arbitrary and violative of Section 15, Sub-section

(3) of Section 17, 95 and 96 of AP Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, r/w. Rules 3 to 8 of Appointment of Trustees Rules, 1987, apart from violative of Articles 14, 19, and 25 of the Constitution including principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondent no.1 to initiate fresh proceedings to appoint the trustees by following the procedure prescribed under Section 15 and 17 of the Act, r/w.Rule-4 (1) of the Appointment of Trustees Rules, 1987 and to declare the appointment of respondents 2 to 12 as illegal and void.

2. Notice before admission was ordered by this Court on 23-11-2012 directing to issue notice to respondent no.1 only, and no stay was granted. The impugned GO Ms.No.544, dated 25-08-2012 issued by the 1st respondent, which is subject matter of this writ petition, was issued appointing Chairman

and Members of Board of Trustees of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for a period of two years. Admittedly, the said period of two years is over. In view of the same, cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the writ petition has become infructuous.

3. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as having become infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
