SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.1685 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of bail to the petitioner, who is the accused, in Crime No.14 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Cheedikada Police Station, Visakhapatnam District. 2.

The offence alleged is under Section 20(b)(1)(ii)(c) R/w.8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances Act, 1985 (for short, 'the NDPS Act').

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, and perused the record. 4.

Learned Public Prosecutor brings to the notice of this Court that the earlier bail petition filed by the petitioner was dismissed by this Court, by virtue of the orders in Criminal Petition No.497 of 2018, on 30.01.2018, considering that the quantity of ganza seized from the petitioner is commercial quantity and that he is the sole accused. 5.

Hence, considering the above, this Court opines that this is not a fit case for grant of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand dismissed.
